Hero worshipers abdicate their power and this conveniently allows the hero worshiper to remove themselves from responsibility. In effect becoming a complicit willing victim.
You see being our own guru is about learning about ourselves. Reviewing the things we hold to be true and really looking at them and then deciding whether these things are ours or not. AND, if they are not ours, to learn to put them down and move forward with the things we want.
Question? Do the things you hold to be true about yourself and others, your beliefs, your values, your prejidices, your likes or dislikes, do they work to support who you say you are, who you want to become? Or do they inhibit and restrict?
